I’m sorry I haven’t been posting lately. I could blame it all on school but to be honest I’ve been so lazy lately. The only thing I’ve been doing in my free time is obsessing about The 100 since it came back. I’ve pretty much just been making edits from the latest episodes for my The 100 account, read Bellarke fanfiction every night because I can’t handle all that is happening, and watch other tv shows. I haven’t even been taking pictures for my bookstagram…
BUT, I’m on a mini break from school now which should make things easier!
So here is the Soundtrack of my life book tag! Thanks Olivia @ Heir of Glitter for tagging me 🙂
Opening Credits: favorite childhood book
All the Geronimo Stilton books! They were so fun to read! I had the whole 30 books collection at the time, in portuguese of course. I liked this one in particular, Cat and Mouse in a Haunted House.
There’s also another book I remember loving when I was a kid, I read it multiple times. It was Shadows of Magic by Linda Chapman, from the Stardust series. I now know there are 8 books in the series and this is number 5… I don’t know why the person who gave it to me offered me the 5th instead of the 1st but I still understood the story perfectly so I don’t care. I wish I’d read the whole collection though.
Waking Up: a book that got you out of a reading slump
Rereading a favourite book never fails to get me out of a reading slump. Speaking of which, I’m in one right now 😦
School: a book you had to read for school that you ended up loving
I was about 10 or 11 when we read this in school and I remember really enjoying it. It’s Ulisses by Maria Alberta Meneres, a portuguese writer, and it tells the story of Ulisses. I also remember reading a couple books from Sophia de Mello Breyner Andersen when I was in 4th grade or earlier, namely The Girl from the Sea. And yes she’s Portuguese but has an English name.
Falling In Love: an author you love so much that you want to read all of their books
Sarah J Maas aka my Queen
Fight: a book with the best action sequences
Queen of Shadows had a lot of great action scenes. Aelin is a badass 😉
Break Up: a book or series you didn’t and don’t intend to finish
You’ve probably guessed it because I’ve said this many times XD The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I stopped on page 180 and managed to fall asleep 3 times so that should tell you why I have no desire to finish the remaining 400 or 500 pages.
Hanging With Friends: a book you think everyone should read
The Throne of Glass series because it’s one of my favourites.
Breakdown: a book that seriously affected you / made you cry
Just check this shelf on Goodreads called Made me cry like a baby XD Clockwork Princess, Sweet Temptation and The Fault in Our Stars were probably the worst.
Road Trip: your favorite series (3+ books)
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas.
Getting Back Together: a book you keep rereading
The Hush Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick. I’ve probably read it some 30 times since 2010. No exagerement (or shame) XD
Wedding: a book that’s really special to you
The Hush Hush saga because I’m pretty sure they’re all first editions and they mean a lot to me, my signed first edition of City of Heavenly Fire and my signed personalized copy of Passenger (even if I haven’t read it yet I read her other books and I love her).
Moment Of Triumph: the longest book you’ve read
The Outlander books are the longest I’ve ever read XD First Voyager with 1059 pages (it took me 20 days to read it XD), then Dragonfly in Amber with 963 and Outlander with 864.
Death Scene: a book or series you wish had ended differently
I can’t really come up with an answer to this… I think every book or series I’ve read ended in a good way. Thankfully haha
Funeral: book or series with the best or worst epilogue
Clockwork Princess add one of the best and worst epilogues simulaniously. It was great because I loved to get to know the characters lives after the ending of the book but it was horrible because it shattered my heart into tiny million pieces </3 I cried all over the pages.
I tag:
Georgia @ Books and Other Miracles
Ashleigh @ A Frolic Through Fiction
Cátia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much
I wasn’t able to finish The Host either. Then again, I was like 12, so maybe I’ll give it a re-try some time. Haha. XD

Oh man, I wouldn’t even be able to count how many Geronimo Stilton books I have. I was such a big fan! I even got to interview him once and I was super excited about that even though it was just a guy in a suit hahaha
