1. Best Book You Read In 2016?

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas! Feysand ❤

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Virgins by Diana Gabaldon. I was excited to read more about Jamie’s past because I love him but unfortunately, this wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

 3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

Captive Prince by C. S. Pacat. Due to all the trigger warnings for this trilogy, I was afraid I wouldn’t enjoy it, even though I really wanted to. But I was pleasently surprised.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas! I’ve recommended it to a lot of people online and one of my irl friends is actually already halfway through Crown of Midnight and loving it!

A Court of Mist and Fury before the release of ACOWAR (even though I’ve reread chapters 54 and 55 quite a bit haha), King’s Rising because I miss Damen and Laurent and fanfiction isn’t enough for me and possibly the Six of Crows duology cause I already miss Kaz and Inej and again, fanfiction just isn’t enough.

  1. I love this survey. I did it a few days ago and it was so awesome thinking back on all the books I had the opportunity to read last year. I definitely agree with you though, I’m seriously so excited for Flame in the Mist. I absolutely loved The Wrath and The Dawn duology so I have high hopes for Ahdieh’s next novel.

  2. I’ve read ACOMAF four times since it came out, I just can’t stop thinking about it! It’s so big and beautiful and RHYSAND *fangirl sigh*

I love all your answers, especially how often Six of Crows was featured. I also discovered Leigh in 2016 and it amazes me that I waited so long! All of her books are golden and I can’t wait to see more of her work in the future. 😀

  3. I’m a bit late answering / writing comments, SO I’M INCREDIBLY SORRY for not saying anything sooner, but I really wanted to thank you for mentioning me, it made my day (when I first saw it and now 😛 ). You’re very very sweet ❤ ( & your blog was a really nice discovery too 😀 )
