I saw this tag on Marta’s blog The Book Mermaid and thought it was the perfect November tag! It was created by Ashley @ Dreaming Through Literature
APPLE PICKING: A book on your TBR that looks so delicious you can’t wait to take a bite out of it
I really want to read Shadow and Bone cause I very much want to meet the Darkling 😉
CORN MAZE: A book that’s so fun to get lost in
I love getting lost in A Court of Mist and Fury cause it’s everything I love in a book, intense, funny, sexy, beautiful, emotional 💙
HAUNTED HOUSES: A book that scared you silly
I read a horror book for Halloween in 5th grade and it left me a bit scared tbh. I can’t remember the name (in Portuguese or in English) but it was about a father who made experience and then he created a monster that possessed his body and tried to kill his family or something like that, I don’t remember very well. Sorry this is not a real answer but I’ve never really been scared by books except that time and probably cause I was young haha.
PUMPKIN PATCH: The last book you picked up (purchased)
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo! I’ve already read it and IT DESTROYED ME IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY 😩😭😍❤️
SCENIC DRIVES: A book that is lyrically beautiful
The Wrath and the Dawn is so beautifully written it makes me emotional just to think about it ❤️
PUMPKIN CARVING: A book you didn’t like and wouldn’t mind carving up
The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It’d make a pretty good carving since it’s like 700 pages long haha. Too bad I couldn’t get past page 180…
DRINKING APPLE CIDER: A sweet book to curl up under the covers with
Sweet Temptation simply because it has sweet in the title and I love it haha. I love the fact that it’s all the important parts of the 3 books in the Sweet trilogy in Kaidan’s POV and that there’s lyrics in the beginning of each chapter that really describe what happens in them, plus the song Kaidan wrote for Anna!
JUMPING IN A LEAF PILE: A book that reminds you of your childhood
Any retelling reminds me of my childhood tbh so I guess A Court of Thorns and Roses because Beauty and the Beast was always one of my favourite Disney movies and Belle is my favourite princess!
SCARY MOVIE NIGHT: Your favorite spooky read
Probably The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. It’s quite creepy but I love it 💙
BONUS! COSTUME PARTY: A book with an eclectic cast of characters
Definitely Six of Crows, the characters are so unique and amazing and you actually get to read from all of their POVs so you get to know them better and their past. Plus there’s so much diversity!!! You have POC and LGBTQ+ (and not just homosexual which I think is great) characters, interracial and same sex relationships, a character with a disability! I MEAN WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT

I loved your answers! I’m even more excited to read ACOTAR now hahaha ❤
Well, I'd probably be scared if I read that book you read in 5th grade, even tho I'm 17 – I really love Halloween but horror books / movies are just not for me 😛
Oh, it's really sad you couldn't finish The Host, I loved that book 😦
