Pokémon Book Tag!

I’ve been seeing a lot of people doing this tag lately so I decided to do it as well! This tag was created by Aentee @ Read at Midnight and I’m using her graphics because they’re amazing 🙂

So let’s get started!

I chose Squirtle as my starter Pokémon simply because it was the closest to me haha. But now I’m kinda regretting itcause I haven’t seen a single Charmander yet and they’re so cute! I’m glad I didn’t go for Bulbasaur tho cause I’ve caught a bunch of those, even an Ivysaur!

So, for this I have two answers for this. First, the books that first taught me how fun reading is: Four Mice Deep in the Jungle by Geronimo Stilton! I got it from our classroom’s mini library and read it the nest morning! After that, my mum would get me two books for each Excellent mark in a test and one boom for a Very Good 🙂 I managed to read the whole collection, I just loved them so much!

Second, the book that got me into reading in English: Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick! Ever since I read it I’ve only read books in Portuguese for school haha.

I caught two Pikachu!!! And that’s all I have to say since I haven’t read any classics haha.

Omg these little bastards are a plague! I have +200 Zubat candies. But the Pidgeys are rivalling them tbh.

Unpopular opinion here, but The Hunger Games don’t kill me please

I’ve never seen one of these…

I read The Darkest Minds trilogy after I read the Shatter Me trilogy and I noticed a lot of similarity (mostly because they’re both Dystopian) but I still enjoyed it! Those similarities being: Corrupt government, people with strange powers, both main characters were imprisoned by their parents and saved the world.

I’ve never caught a Snorlax but I see them all the time in gyms.

For this one my answer is definitely A Song of Ice and Fire. There’s a lot of books in the series and they’re all huge! And then there’s the fact that I think I want to keep being surprised by the tv show haha.

Recently, A Court of Mist and Fury. I stayed up at night to read the last 300 pages, cried 3 times in the process, finished it, closed the book, cried some more and then I just stayed in my bed staring at the ceiling. Typical Sarah J Maas post-book reaction.

I really want one of these omg they’re so cute!!!

I’m gonna go with The Wrath and the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh. Everyone should read this bok! It’s so beautifully written I get emotional just thinking about it. Seriously.

I will never get tired of seeing Eevee and eeveelutions!!! They’re just adorable! I only have Flareon from the evolutions (who I named Aelin cause well… fire) but I’m evolving a Vaporeon soon! I just need to catch one more Eevee.

Any book written by the Queen Sarah J Maas. Like seriously, give spin-offs on the Inner Circle or the Thirteen cause I’m dying for those! Also the novella about my baby Chaol omg.

I really want to evolve a Gyarados but 400 Magikarp candies? Seriously? I don’t even have 10…

I honestly never thought I’d love the Outlander series as much as I do! Historical fiction as never really been among my favourite genres but I omg I absolutely love these books!!! And the tv show too!

Probably The Lunar Chronicles! Those books are everywhere and I can’t wait to read them!

I’ve actually mentioned this a couple times before but omg the 20th Anniversary edition of Outlander is just amazing!!! I’d love to have it!

I’m really excited for Renée Ahdieh‘s new book Flame in the Mist! It comes out on May 2nd of 2017 and it’s said to be “a mash-up of Disney’s Mulan and fantasy action movie 47 Ronin”. I was sold on Mulan. And also, I love Ahdieh’s writing style so much!

Omg I spent a whole weekeend with this image on my screen when Pokémon Go was released in Portugal tho I already had it lol

Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas!!! Well, a year is like forever haha. Ican’t wait to read it (especially since I heard there’s gonna be LGBTQ+ characters OMG) but I’m also extremely scared…
