Questions, Questions…

Cherry @ Read Forevermore nominated me for the Real Neat Blogger Award but I’ve already done that (you can see it here if you’d like), thanks though! In her post she asked 7 question and I think they’re great so I’ve decided to answered them anyway 🙂
So here they are:

1. What are you currently reading right now?
I’m currently reading Truthwitch by Susan Dennard! I was very excited when I got an email saying that my request had been approved and I could download a preview excerpt on my Kindle app! It’s a big preview, like half of the book, but I don’t mind because Truthwitch is one of my most anticipated book releases of 2016! I’m currently in chapter 8 which means I’ve read almost half of the preview but the chapters are quite big.

2. If you could live the life of any character, who would it be?
I would love to be Aelin Ashryver Galathynius because who wouldn’t love to have fire magic and be surrounded by those beautiful men?! Also she’s my favourite female character because she’s an absolute badass and a Queen!

3. What fandoms do you belong to?
So many oh my God, both from books and tv shows. If I wrote them all down we wouldn’t get out of here today haha.

4. Do you read the book first or watch the movie/show first?
I usually read the book first, unless I don’t know it’s a book when I watch the movie/tv show (like The 100). The only time I knowingly watched a tv show before reading the book was with Outlander. I wanted to watch a couple of episodes before reading the book because it was a genre I’d never read before, historical fiction, and that scared me a little, I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it. I ended up watching the whole season though because I loved it so much! And the book is even better! I was really happy to see that the tv show is so true to the books!

5. Have you ever written fan fiction or your own stories?
Yes, I have. I’ve written a couple of oneshots about my first OTP, Patch and Nora from the Hush Hush saga by Becca Fitzpatrick 🙂

6. What book do you wish would be made into a tv show or movie?
I really hope Throne of Glass is made into a tv show and A Court of Thorns and Roses into a movie!

7. What is your favorite book element/trope? (i.e. strong female heroine, cliffhangers, etc)
Definitely a strong female heroine and plot twists! I love a good plot twist, makes the book more interesting : ) And when I say strong female character I mean a well written female, with flaws and qualities, who goes through good character development and just generally kicks ass (aka Aelin) 😉
