Sarah J. Maas became my favorite author since I read Throne of Glass so naturally, I was excited to read ACOTAR and I’m extremely glad to say that it did not disappoint me! Sarah J. Maas is a brilliant human being capable of creating amazing worlds and characters to die for, and I’d like to thank her for that.

I love how this book is based on Beauty and the Beast but it’s still unique on its own. I loved Feyre’s fierceness in saving those she loves. I fell in love with every male character (which always seems to happen to me when reading Sarah’s books), though Tamlin has a special place in my heart. “You look… better than before. And your hair is… clean.” He’s precious.

Feyre and Tamlin’s love for each other is beautiful and I cannot get enough of it! “I threw myself into that fire, threw myself into it, into him, and let myself burn.”

And by the Cauldron, let’s not even talk about Fire Night. «He brought his lips to my ear. “I would have been gentle with you, though.” I shuddered as I closed my eyes. Every inch of my body went taut as his words echoed through me. “I would have had you moaning my name throughout it all. And I would have taken a very, very long time, Feyre.”»

Okay I’m gonna try to stop with the quotes now. But I mean, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT A YEAR FOR BOOK 2?! Which we now know is called A Court of Mist and Fury! I’m really excited about that!

Honestly, just read this book. I promise you will not be disappointed.

      1. Me too I think… YOWCH I NEVER SAY THAT! I may have contacted Sarah J. Maas to ask for a pre release copy in exchange for a review… probably won’t get a reply but hey ho it was worth a try. X

      2. Yeah it’s worth a try 🙂 I’ve thought about doing that if I get more followers on my blog but then I don’t know if they ship ARC’s to Portugal, even though I always read in English 😅

      3. Lol if you think you need more followers I don’t have a chance at all! Meh, nothing to lose. 🙂 So are you shipping Feyre and Rhysand or Feyre and Tamlin?

      4. I know he would have but I don’t think he would’ve made it in time, because he was hurt pretty badly. I wish he would’ve though. I’m kinda scared of what might happen in the Night Court…
